Getting the hang of equalising
Since I started freediving I was never any good at equalising, 5m of depth would feel like a truck colliding with my eardrum. I’ve had a few problems with my ears in the past, but this has changed for me. Although I’ve reached the depth of -42m in Egypt, diving in the Netherlands proves to be totally different. Not only on the visibility, but also on the equalisation part. Todays training showed that I am up for depths in dutch waters aswell.
The dive after recovering from my cracked back tooth already looked very promising, but today I showed 2 easy 30m+Â dives, which were on the training shedule. So we conclude this session with a good feeling for future dives.
